What are third-party trackers?
When you visit a website, it often loads resources from dozens of other companies — analytics scripts, advertising pixels, social media widgets. Each one can track your browsing behavior, build a profile of your interests, and sell that data to advertisers.
What does the surveillance score mean?
We calculate a score from 0–100 based on the number and type of trackers found. Advertising and tracking pixels score highest because they exist solely to monitor you. CDN resources are marked benign — they serve functional content, not surveillance.
